Admission Requirements: Admission to the Graduate Certificate program in Communication is open to qualified graduates of recognized colleges and universities accredited by a regional or general accrediting agency. To complete the application process, the student must meet the following minimum requirements:
- A completed Graduate Admissions application form
- A bachelors degree from an accredited institution
- Two official transcripts from all post-secondary educational institutions in which the candidate was enrolled
- An overall GPA of 2.75 or better as an undergraduate, with a minimum GPA of 3.0 in the junior and senior years
- Satisfactory scores on the aptitude section of the Graduate Record Examination
- Three letters of recommendation
- A personal statement of professional goals
Requirements:
- Comm 6100 Communication Research Methods
- Comm 6101 Communication Theory
- 9 Credit Hours Communication electives, graduate level courses
- (No more than 3 credit hours at the 5000 level)
