Master’s Degree Application Information

The Communication Studies Master's program is no longer accepting applications for the 2009-2010 academic year. The application deadline for the 2010-2011 academic year is February 1, 2010. Applications are reviewed only once per year; so applications submitted before the deadline will only be reviewed after the February 1, 2010 deadline and applicants will be notified of their acceptance or non-acceptance in mid-spring.

All application materials are available at the UNCC Graduate School website and must be returned to the Graduate School per its directions. Applications should NOT be sent to the Department of Communication Studies. To be considered for admission, the applicant must complete the application, submit copies of the required transcripts, have forwarded the results of the Graduate Record Exam (GRE), submit three letters of recommendation, and complete an essay about their graduate school aspirations.
